Thanks to you all, these maligators and Dutchies have escaped an undeserving euth-list and landed the jackpot of a fulfilled life in a true furever home!
Oso
Oso fka Guppy came to NWH after being literally dumped on the street out of a van in Southern California! Our volunteers sprang into action and helped him find his way to his foster. After just a short time, he found his perfect home with his new family.
Here's what they are saying:
"Oso is doing so well settling into our little pack. We’re approaching month 3 and he has definitely made himself at home with our two other dogs. So far he’s been spending the days training, trekking, and flinging toys around by himself at home. He fits in perfectly and he’s always down to do anything we take him to and catches onto things quickly. We hit the ground running taking him to a trip shortly after we got him and he was amazing with our dogs and friends’ dogs in a completely new environments. I had always wanted a Malinois but knew that for my third dog needed a very particular one and Oso was just that dude. We couldn’t be happier with the NWH team and the entire adoption process from first steps to meet & greet and the final adoption wrap up. The timing of everything was so perfect and can’t help thinking that this was exactly what we were waiting for. You can tell that the well-being of their dogs are put as an utmost priority with them. It takes a village and it’s always amazing to see how everyone in rescue shows up for the dogs. Thanks y’all!"
Ducky
Ducky was wandering for a while, eating whatever she cvould find, literally vomiting plastic when she was impounded. She had a seriously infected ear which now gives her character. Throughout all, she has been the sweetest girl.
Here is what her forever humans are sharing about her:
"We've now had Ducky for ten weeks, and it’s hard to imagine life without her sitting on top of me. As advertised, she is a gentle, polite senior lady who enjoys neighborhood walks and cuddling on the couch. We initially suspected she might be a sighthound mix because of her dainty snoot and laid-back nature, but a DNA test revealed she is, in fact, 100% Belgian Malinois. As she has settled in and grown more comfortable it has been a joy to watch her occasionally unleash her "maligator" alter ego. She also has, by far, the most impressive vertical jump in the family.
After a previous difficult adoption experience, during which we felt unsupported by a rescue when our home wasn't the right fit, it was important for us to find an organization that truly stands by its dogs. Ninja Woof Haus has been incredible in every way. The volunteers were thoughtful and thorough in setting us up for a successful match, and while Ducky has thankfully gotten along amazingly with our existing pets, it was incredibly reassuring—and healing—to know that so many people were invested in helping her find her forever home. We are so thankful to everyone at NWH for bringing the Best Dog in the World into our lives."
Remi
This sweet girl was dumped and landed in a Southern California Shelter. Like so many, she and her brother [rescued] were discarded and left to their own devices and fend for themselves. With the help of amazing volunteers and a foster who said yes to her, Ninja's Woof Haus was able to bring her into rescue. She thrived and it did not take long for her to find her perfect forever home!

"She’s doing amazing, has really made some great progress in her training.
She’s a wonderful partner and has been on several adventures with us already.
She's the best! Can't thank y'all enough"
Bodhi
Bodhi landed in a Southern California shelter after his human was arrested. He was on confiscation hold for a month before Ninja's Woof Haus got to rescue him.
He is now enjoying his freedom in Canada with his forever human and fursister.
Here's what his human shared about him:
"Bodhi is doing great! He has settled in and is bonded to me now. He and Havanna are extremely close.
Bodhi has started to find his legs this week and is keeping up with Havanna for short periods at a full sprint. He is extremely social and loves to meet everyone and their dog.
We do our standard obedience training everyday with his favourite basketball. This included, sit, lay down, stay, heal, fetch and drop and long stay.
He is an amazing boy and I look forward to potentially doing some competitive dog sports with him."
Bear
Bear was found with his siblings and Mama Dutchie in a field in Southern California. He became a social media legend while quarantining when we had a parvo scare and he didn't have to wait too long before his new mama found him.
Here is what she says about him:
“Bear was the missing piece for me and my other dog Stella!! He has brought so much joy into our home and been the perfect fit. He and Stella bonded quickly and it is so sweet watching them snuggle and become best friends. So far, he has fallen in love with water and is doing so well with dock diving lessons! We have plans to pursue HRD work once he is old enough to be evaluated as a candidate and are focusing on foundational obedience for now. He is developing into a wonderfully stable family dog with an off switch and transitions well between activity and downtime. I am so excited to continue learning and growing with Bear! He is a dream dog with so much potential and love to give! “
Beau
Beau was found with his siblings and Mama Dutchie in a field in Southern California.
Here is what his forever humans shared about him:
Beau is doing so well! We adopted him just over 6 weeks ago and in that short time he has truly become part of the family. Beau has such a cute and goofy personality and loves to cuddle when he’s not being a busy little guy. We love that we get to see his soft and silly side but also his serious working side! So far we’ve been working on building confidence out in public, forming a strong bond, basic obedience, and scent work. He’s such a smart little guy and learns so quickly! Beau and his big fur sister, Raven are 100% besties. If they could play all day, they would! Their favorite things to do are chase each other around the yard and play bitey face. Beau also loves people and will greet almost anyone with kisses if given the chance. Adopting Beau through Ninja’s Woof Haus was such a great experience for us. The process was thorough but straightforward and we could tell the team at NWH really cares about their dogs and matching them with the right home. We are regularly in contact with Nicole, Beau's fosters, and his sibling's owners, trading photos back and forth and talking about their progress. Being part of the Ninja Woof Pack is like becoming part of a community. We have been watching rescue posts for a long time waiting for the right pup to pop up and when we read Beau's description, we decided to take the leap and apply. He fits in so perfectly with our family and has already formed a unique bond with each of us. We feel like it was meant to be and we are so lucky we get to watch him grow up. We love Beau so much and appreciate the whole team at Ninja's Woof Haus!
Maeve
Maeve and her siblings were found with Mama Dutchie in a field in Southern California, abandoned. Who knows what they had been through! Ninja's Woof Haus was able to help her and her siblings because fosters stepped up. Her foster, fell madly in love with her and became a foster fail.
Here is what her furever mom says about her:
"Maeve originally came to us as a foster, but it didn’t take long at all for us to realize that she was meant to stay. We completely fell in love with her, and somewhere along the way, our little foster became a permanent part of our family.
Maeve has the sweetest, calmest energy. She is playful and absolutely OBSESSED with her toys, but she also loves nothing more than curling up for a good cuddle. She is a total sweetheart who loves EVERYONE she meets and has never met a person she didn’t want to say hello to.
She is still very treat-motivated, which has made training so much fun. She is almost finished with her puppy classes and graduates Saturday! After taking a month to enjoy her graduation and keep practicing everything she has learned, she’ll be moving on to Level 1.
One of my favorite things about Maeve is the bond she and I have. She has become my little shadow in so many ways, and there is just something incredibly special about watching her grow and knowing that I get to be her person. She came into our lives as a foster, but she quickly found her way into my heart and became so much more than that.
And somehow, she fits perfectly into our crazy pack. She has found her own place among Raven, Reaper, Storm and Rocky, and watching her grow alongside them has been so special. Each of them brings out something different in her, and she has become a little piece of our pack’s personality all on her own.
Maeve is precious, goofy, cuddly, playful, eager to learn, and just genuinely full of love. We may have brought her home as a foster… but she ended up fostering us into realizing we needed one more.
